About

Brad Fougere is an experienced executive leader in Canada's capital city, Ottawa, leveraging non-profit leadership with extensive experience in marketing and communications across economic development, sports, and entertainment industries.

 

In 2004, Fougere founded Public Intox as a music publishing company to release independent, self-produced projects as a musician. In 2012, he enrolled in Algonquin College's journalism program, completing a student reporter placement at Postmedia's Parliamentary Bureau. He has since pivoted Public Intox into a media literacy social enterprise.

 

After graduating journalism school, he spent two years working at the Canada's leading industry association, Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters in media relations and communications. Following time in the manufacturing lobby, he spent six years at Canada Soccer, leveraging the tremendous growth of the game in Canada as the organization's digital communications lead building an engaged digital audience through a multi-channel growth strategy.
